Maralé Hoft, the owner and founder of Marale Hoft Biokineticist, opened the practice in Paarl Western Cape in January 2022. She completed her B.Hons Biokinetics at The University of the Free State in 2021.
In addition to Biokinetics, she has completed various additional courses to improve her knowledge and skills.
BIOKINETICS AS A RECOGNISED PROFESSION:
Biokineticist functions within professional alliance to health and medicine and is recognised by and registered with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA).
As a result, Biokineticists function in professional alliance with other health
practitioners/professionals such as Specialist Physicians, Doctors, Osteopaths, Chiropractors, Occupational Therapists and Physiotherapists.
Biokineticist are also registered with The Biokinetics Association of South Africa (BASA). BASA is a professional body which represents Biokineticist members in South Africa.
